Cheetos Text

Can you smell the cheese? Can you..? Cause I can't!

  • Step 1 On a new layer, create some cool lookin' black text;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 2 With the text-selection still on click this button to activate a shape in which the text should be moven;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 3 Then add a yellow color-overlay;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 4 Duplicate the layer by pressing CTRL+J and place the bottom layer a bit below the other and change the color to orange;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 5 Add a thick black stroke;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 6 And add a white stroke.
    You can do this by selecting the text and place a layer behind the text and fill it with white. Then give that a white stroke that reaches far beyond the black ;)

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 7 Then add this layer-style to the yellow text;

    Cheetos Text

  • Step 8 And finally you got some nice cheese-scented Cheetos-text!

Actually, Nick, I am trying to recreate the exact Cheetos font for work. Frito-Lay doesn't exactly give out these things freely.

Nice tutorial. Here's how I'd achieve the same effect, but without the multiple layers:

Or, shortened (just in case):

Wow...how about you guys pick your own font or browse the wonderful Interwebs and find a font that works for you? I highly doubt ANY of you came here because you were suddenly struck with the desire to recreate the Cheetos logo. This is a tutorial to make ANY font have the same look as the Cheetos logo.

Good tutorial bud, all these people are idiots.

pretty lame tutorial considering it helps to give out the name of the font when making a tut.
