Chocovore wants More! is a game developed by MediaMonks for Kellogs to promote their new cerial, Trésor. The idea of Trésor is that it's a piece of biscuit who loves chocolate so much, that he eats it. There has been loads of commercials on it. We were asked to create a game that would fit this campaign. We came up with a mixture of Snake, Pacman and Bomberman where you play a little chocovore who has to gather treasures (seeing as Trésor is French for treasure). He does this by eating his way through the level that is made entirely out of chocolate. But while eating the chocolate away, scary chocolate-monsters can spawn, determined to eat the chocovore. But when the chocovore has eaten enough chocolate, he will get a chocolate-frenzy, allowing him to eat the monsters. Eating more of the level away results in a higher score, but will also spawn more monsters and will also give them more ground to move on.
