Blast from the Past 5: Indiana Jones

I've always been a fan of Dr. Henry Jones jr. Back in the 90's when Tomb Raider made it's appearance into the world of gaming, people were introduced to a whole new form of action adventure. Some might say that Indiana Jones was a clone of Tomb Raider, others might say it's an amazing inspiration. Either way, they sure were inspired by it, but did a hell of a lot better. Tomb Raider 1 is a great game, but this game managed to improve everything! Just like any other 3rd person action adventure, you start with your basic movement, some…

It's precisely like last year during the last weeks of my internship. When I get home, it's either too late to do something else or I'm too swamped in other work, OR I'm just too tired to do anything else. And when it's weekend, I either have plans, birthdays (which I'm not complaining about) and time to sleep, thus not giving me the time I need to do other stuff. Thursday was the day the stores opened up and prepared to sell the regular games as well as the infamous collectors editions, which I am now the proud owner of. Thanks to friend Steve, I too was blessed with one of these huge cases filled with…

A year ago, I bought a new tv, because it was time for me I moved on. I went from a quite small, but not too shabby, tv to a bigscreen FullHD tv. Quite a lot of money, but it was worth it, because it still is one of the larger screens around. With around 40-50 inch of joy, I can play my xbox, watch some VHS, dvd or play on the Wii. Thing is. This tv is made for normal people and normal people don't seem to own multiple consoles. That's why there's only 1 component-entrance. Problem is that…
