“I got the best job in the world!”
Hi, I’m Mick!
I am a Dutch multidisciplinary Senior Game Artist focused on character art and animation, working for the awesome company OrangeGames.
Working with design since 2003 and active in the game-industry since 2007, I can truly say that I’ve got the best job in the world.
I’m a creative perfectionist who loves what he does and always goes for the best and prettiest option there is. I love working in teams and always try to motivate and enthuse my co-workers to get the best out of them!
I love learning new things and try to learn something new every day!
I try to see setbacks as challenges and believe that when you try to look on the brighter side of things, everything does tend to fall in place.
I’ve had the pleasure of working for and with a lot of companies throughout the years. The variety, the multi-disciplinairy teams and the unique individuals I’ve encountered, really make this a great way to design!
Aside from what you can see on my portfolio, I’ve also got experience with the more traditional arts like painting, sculpting and woodworking.
I’ve drawn for all my life.. I cannot see my world without it. It is this passion that has been driving me, ever since I was 3 years old. Ever since I saw Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in the cinema, I knew I wanted to be an animator!
