Hi, I'm Mick and I have been drawing and sculpting all my life. In 2004 I started with graphic design and started my own website. As a way of gaining visitors, I started making Photoshop tutorials. These were quickly picked up by databases and after a few years I had over 20.000 unique visitors for quite a long time with a database of over 200 tutorials.
I studied Gamedesign & Development at the School of Arts in Hilversum where I also got my first internship at Soepel as a Junior Artist. While at school, I freelanced quite a bit and also gave various classes to other students in the usage of Photoshop, Flash and 3D Studio Max. During and after my school-career, started working at MediaMonks as a Game Artist. This involved working on a lot of cool projects where I designed characters, levels, items and animated a lot of them. I also did a little bit of Game Design while I worked there. I stopped working in April 2011.
Having lived with my parents for 23 years, I moved out in November 2010 and moved to Almere where I now live on my own.
